For the Quality Assurance positions:
Job Description:
Run NX CAM software for the purpose of analyzing differences between r
un-time behavior and required behavior and reporting on results.
Create test plans for analyzing whether a new software feature satisfa
ctorily meets agreed upon requirements and functional specification.
Provide timely feedback to software developers about problems found in
new features being developed and provide recommendations on the relative prio
rity of problems found.
Run NX CAM software tests both interactively and in automated batch mo
de and analyze the results of each to determine when failures are happening.
Create new tests to be used in automated testing to cover new software
functionality being created.
Provide regression testing of software bug fixes to determine that exi
sting behavior has not been broken by new code.
Analyze existing bugs to determine if problems as reported still exist
.
Interact with customers, as necessary, in order to understand how they
make use of NX CAM and provide feedback on how existing software may meet tho
se needs.
Provide recommendations during the definition of requirements and func
tional specifications of new features to better meet the needs of existing and
potential customers.
Become familiar with related products sold by the same company (such a
s TeamCenter Manufacturing) for the purpose of verifying how well NX CAM works
in combination with them.

Requirements:
Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience running CAD/CAM software, preferably in a commercial enviro
nment.
Good written and verbal English skills
Ability to work with minimal direct oversight
Experience with NX CAM is desired.
Familiarity with NC Machining processes is desired.

Positions: System Engineer for CAM

For the System Engineer position:
Job Description:
To maintain and enhance automated test tools written in C and Perl f
or Computer Aided Manufacturing software
To maintain and enhance Perl-based web CGI scripts that analyze bug re
port trends from a database
To provide support for software developers and testers who need to run
the automated test tools against code changes
To apply code coverage tools to identify gaps in coverage of automated
test tools and make recommendations for additional test cases
To apply code coverage tools to identify redundant automated test case
s and improve efficiency.
To run a variety of automated test tools on a regular basis against in
tegrated software on Windows and Linux and be responsible for reporting summar
y results and writing up any new problems found
To work with software developers to identify ways to extend automated
testing into areas not currently covered, such as visualization tools, and pro
vide assistance in implementing necessary routines to support automated testin
g

Prerequisites / Requirements:
Master Degree in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with C and Perl languages is mandatory
Experience with MS Visual Studio and with Linux and debugging large so
ftware programs is strongly preferred
Experience running CAD/CAM software is desirable.
Experience writing SQL database queries is helpful.
Good written and verbal English skills
Ability to work with minimal direct oversight
